CCU seeks a new Senior Mens Head Coach

We are thrilled to open applications for the position of Senior Mens Head Coach (1st grade), this is an exceptional opportunity for experienced and ambitious coach.

About the Club: We are embarking on an exciting new journey, the Senior Coaching role will give the right candidate the opportunity to mould a team and take on the challenge of managing a Senior mens team in State wide competition.

The Role: As the Senior Coach, you will take charge of the Club's Senior Men's Team and lead the coaching team. You will work closely with the Club's Football Director to enhance coaching capabilities across all levels, from Seniors to U20's and U18's. Additionally, mentoring and developing junior coaches will be a key responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and Mentor: Lead the Club's Senior Men's Team and mentor junior coaches to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

  2. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Board and Football department to set goals, report on performance, and devise a winning strategy for the Club's future success.

  3. Talent Recruitment and Development: Identify and recruit talented players while nurturing the development of players within the Senior Squad and Youth Squads.

  4. Scouting and Analysis: Scout local leagues to unearth potential talents who can excel at the NPL level. Conduct comprehensive match analysis and prepare for upcoming oppositions.

  5. Roster Management: Manage the team's roster and points system.

  6. Support Technical Director: Collaborate with the Technical Director to provide valuable input and contribute to the Club's football curriculum and philosophy.

  7. Media and Community Engagement: Act as a representative of the Club, engaging with the media and showcasing our values to the wider community.

Requirements:

  1. A-License Coaching Certification

  2. Proven Head Coaching Experience

  3. Strong Leadership and Communication Skills

  4. Passionate and dedicated to the development of football players

  5. Ability to work collaboratively with the Club's management and coaching team

  6. Knowledgeable in player recruitment and scouting

  7. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
