Central Coast United Appoints Pete Edwards as U20s Head Coach

Central Coast United is pleased to announce the appointment of Pete Edwards as our new U20s head coach. Pete joins us after a successful tenure with local powerhouse Terrigal United. Edwards distinguished himself as the 1st grade head coach at Terrigal United, where he also served as the club’s Technical Director (TD). Under his guidance, all three senior teams, including U21s, reserve grade, and 1st grade, reached repeated grand finals, showcasing his ability to foster a winning culture while promoting an expansive and exciting brand of football.

The Central Coast United management team is thrilled about Edwards’ appointment, appreciating his unique blend of youthful energy and seasoned expertise. We're looking forward to his enthusiasm and positive influence making a significant impact, shaping the next generation of Central Coast players and nurturing a culture of excellence and growth within our U20s team.

Stuart Davis Head of Football Operations said “Central Coast United is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Edwards as our FNSW NPL U20 Coach. Pete has NPL coaching experience with CCMA and most recently guided Terrigal United FC Mens First Grade to the BPL Grand Final. Pete is an ambitious, young, up-and-coming coach with a huge passion for player development and talent identification and we look forward to his growth as a coach working in our Senior program and gaining more experience at the state level.”

Pete Edwards “Central Coast United are a club that shares many values that I connect with as a coach. Their core philosophy of representing the Central Coast region with 'Central Coast' players is something I am very passionate about. I have dedicated my career to the development of players from this region and to continue to do this at a representative level is a great privilege. I'm excited to be part of the senior coaching team, working with Shannon Cole, Matt and Stu to bring the highest standard of coaching to local players.  would like to thank CCU for giving me the opportunity as Head coach of the U20s and I will strive to help create and develop the next generation of young, aspiring footballers.”

Central Coast United will be making more announcements about our coaching and playing teams in the weeks ahead.
