Central Coast United Granted FNSW Futsal License – Bringing Elite Futsal Pathways to the Coast

Central Coast United is proud to announce its successful application to the Football NSW (FNSW) Futsal Premier Leagues, officially recognised by Football Australia as the elite representative Futsal competition in NSW.

This milestone sees Central Coast United become one of the select clubs licensed to compete in these prestigious competitions, delivering elite futsal opportunities to players across the Central Coast. The program will feature the following representative teams:

  • Boys - U11 / U12 / U14 / U16

  • Girls U12’s / U13’s / U15’s

  • Mens U19’s & Open Seniors

  • Womens U18’s & Open Seniors

  • AWD (Athletes With Disability)

The FNSW representative futsal season runs from September to December, complementing the outdoor football calendar and offering players year-round representative football opportunities. Many athletes from these competitions go on to be selected for NSW State teams, National Championships, and even the Futsalroos, Australia’s national futsal team.

As part of the club’s long-term vision, Central Coast United will also be launching Futsal Development Academies and Futsal Development Leagues to underpin these elite teams, with a strong focus on collaboration across the local futsal landscape. CCU invites local futsal providers, coaches, and community clubs to work together to grow and strengthen the game across the Central Coast.

“We’re delighted to be accepted into the FNSW Premier Leagues. These are the elite representative leagues in NSW and it reinforces our commitment to local players on the Central Coast,” said Matthew Crowell, General Manager of Central Coast United.
“This provides another high-level avenue for players to compete at state and national level — this time through futsal. We’re proud to launch a program that includes boys, girls, women, men, and a team for athletes with disability. Our selection criteria will remain consistent with our club philosophy— a Central Coast Club for Central Coast people, and we’ll never move away from that. I’m really excited to see it come to life.”

Central Coast United is calling on players, coaches, volunteers, and local futsal clubs who are interested in getting involved to reach out via the contact form below.
