Central Coast United launches an official girls-only program for 2021!!

Central Coast United are proud to announce that we will be entering an U10’s, U11’s and U12’s team in the Northern New South Wales Football newly formatted Junior Development Leagues. These leagues were previously under the SAP banner. This now allows the football club to run a boys and girls program in a Football Australia sanctioned competition which is part of the official football pathway in Australia.

Due to the growing demand for women’s football and a large number of enquiries around a girls-only program, Central Coast United are delighted to support the growth of women’s football.

CCU General Manager Matthew Crowell said “What an exciting time for us as a football club to not only run a SAP program for boys but also to be able to launch the 1st ever girls-only SAP program on the Central Coast. As the football club matures now is the time to expand into girls football and we feel we are ready to deliver an amazing experience for these young football players on the Central Coast. It’s great to provide the girls the same opportunity as boys and we are immensely proud to be able to do provide this pathway for them”

As with the boy’s SAP program, the club will continue working with our partner Central Coast Mariners to ensure every child has the best development opportunities on the Central Coast.
