Central Coast United is thrilled to announce the appointment of Steve Arbelo as our esteemed Youth Technical Director (u13s to U18s). Steve is not just a legend of our club but a visionary leader who has left an indelible mark on youth football development.
Legend of the Club: Steve stands as a true legend within CCU. His enduring commitment and fighting spirit have shaped the club's identity and success, making him a revered figure among players and families alike.
Proven Track Record: With an astounding track record of nurturing young talent, Steve's influence extends far beyond the training ground. Many of his protégés have seamlessly transitioned to our 1st-grade team, with notable successes in the A-League, including the likes of Lachlan Wales (CCM, Melbourne City & Western United).
Passionate South American Approach: Steve brings a dynamic and passionate South American flair to the game. His coaching style reflects the rich traditions of the region, instilling a love for the beautiful game that resonates throughout the club.
Proud Supporter of Uruguay: Hailing from the footballing powerhouse Uruguay, Steve is a proud supporter of the country's footballing legacy. His connection to Uruguayan football adds an international flavour to our local community.

Chopo will also take our U16 boys this year, we have strengthened the squad this season and look forward to Chopo developing the group for what we are sure will be a successful season. Vamos!”

Central Coast United Appoints Pete Edwards as U20s Head Coach
Central Coast United is pleased to announce the appointment of Pete Edwards as our new U20s head coach. Pete joins us after a successful tenure with local powerhouse Terrigal United. Edwards distinguished himself as the 1st grade head coach at Terrigal United, where he also served as the club’s Technical Director (TD). Under his guidance, all three senior teams, including U21s, reserve grade, and 1st grade, reached repeated grand finals, showcasing his ability to foster a winning culture while promoting an expansive and exciting brand of football.

Pete has NPL coaching experience with CCMA and most recently guided Terrigal United FC Mens First Grade to the BPL Grand Final. Pete is an ambitious, young, up-and-coming coach with a huge passion for player development and talent identification and we look forward to his growth as a coach working in our Senior program and gaining more experience at the state level.”

Central Coast United Appoints Shannon Cole as First-Grade Head Coach
Central Coast United is pleased to announce the appointment of Shannon Cole as our new 1st grade head coach. With a distinguished playing career that includes stints with prominent clubs in Australia and valuable coaching experience at senior levels both in Australia and the United States, Cole brings a wealth of expertise to our esteemed football club.
His proven track record and ability to mentor players to reach their full potential make him the ideal candidate to take our team to new milestones.
The entire Central Coast United management team is excited about the future under Cole’s leadership. His blend of experience and expertise promises a bright and successful chapter for our club. We look forward to witnessing the positive impact he will undoubtedly have on our players and the overall football program.
